  1. Funny how everyone thinks they have the weirdest kitty on the planet & then we read other people’s cat-tale’s and are like, “Oh! Me too!”. My recently dearly departed Freeta would jump on my desk and walk across my keyboard which didn’t bode well for any AIM chats I may have been having at the time. She was also fond of marshmallows… mostly destroying them for anyone else’s enjoyment… Once grabbed an entire bag off the counter, tossed it to the floor, ripped it open and proceeded to sink her fangs into every single one! Though she ruined my plans to make Rice Krispies Treats for my son, I still cherish her for those funny memories!

      1. The name comes from one of the muppets on Sesame Street, but the spelling is phonetic from my son’s preschool aged pronunciation. His friend’s little brother kept calling her “Freedom”. One of my favorite pics here: http://wp.me/p4eZuF-xZ and it shows typical feline FU behavior – she was sitting on the patio right next to my chair & was looking right up at me with her beautiful green-gold eyes. As soon as I touched the shutter button on the BACK of my phone, she turned her face away!

        1. Cats very much have a mind of their own, and will do whatever the hell they please, that’s for sure. I don’t know why we let them get away with being such bleedin’ little divas! Mebbe it’s ‘cos they’re cute and furry and the eyes… Gah! Oh, and I can already tell I’m going to have fun reading through your archive. Your sense of humour is right up my alley! 😛

  2. Dear Tony,

Morrigan says, “But why did the cat do that?”
“Well, I guess the cat loves Ernest.”
“Oh! I want to see another one, please! Tony’s stuff is so funny.”

    All My Love,
    Jennifer

  3. Awww so cute. Do you have a cat Tony? I didn’t know that. Or is this little guy a creation from a former or friends cat?

    1. I wish I had a cat. I do love ’em. One of my friends had a cat when we were children that was the friendliest, most affectionate kitty I’ve ever known. His name was Tigger (the cat, not my friend), and he would bunt his head against your face much like Moss does in the third panel of this strip. And his purring was the loudest you ever heard. My friend loved that cat! 😀
