So funny. Why is it you never do erotic comics? I’d like to see more of Birdie.

Oh, believe me, I am more than willing to do erotic comics. Erotica is, however, a very difficult thing to pull off successfully. I find my efforts can tend towards smut most of the time. I have a lot of work to do before I can even achieve the amount of confidence and sophistication that erotica requires, I’m afraid.

Do erotic comics have to be a certain style that is that much more sophisticated than this to be successful? If they are meant to be funny? I know what you mean, though. Crude comics, whether in an illustrative or comic style don’t tend to make us want to get it on.

I think you summed it up perfectly in that last sentence, Kinneret. Crude and funny is great and all, but that wouldn’t be the only thing I’d want to be known for. How cool would it be to be able to produce something that does indeed make folks want to get it on after reading it? Now that would be an amazing feat, and it’s something I’m working toward.

I’m very pleased to hear so! She is certainly meant to be sex on legs which, of course, is in stark contrast to her puritan ways.

I was totally expecting a panel where they kiss and temporarily put aside their differences after seeing zed, then regret it.

Not sure what this says about ME as a PERSON, but I’m slightly shocked that he wasn’t hypnotized by that heaving bosom! 😉

Brilliant that Brydie and her sneezing anti friend can not even see the magic in front of them!

A great way to break them up.
I see what you meant by difficult colouring. That’s amazing!

hahahaha GREAT strip Tony! Unless I miss my guess there’s a few very subtle messages in it. Very clever 🙂
I also liked how the rainy sky outside sort of resembled the glitter-ball effect inside.

That was my feeble attempt at the lighthouse giving off not light but a glitter ball effect instead… you know, ‘cos of the giant glitter ball inside where a normal light would be. You know, to give off a normal beam of li-

Nice one. I laughed heaps when that little dude ran through. What has he got there, toast?

Yup, that’s it. Little Zed likes his toast, although I’m not yet entirely sure that he eats it. 😛
