What amazing facial expressions! I don’t know how you do it! But are the jellies eating Ernest (or his pj’s) or is he eating them?

They’re eating him. That’s why he was so fearful, poor Ernest! And thank you! I rather enjoy drawing the facial expressions of my characters. So much fun!

I don’t think they’re actually eating him, because then he would die. I would rather say it’s gently gnawing him.

I think so. Besides, he doesn’t show any bites or hurts after the events, so I would assume they’re not actually taking pieces of him (morsels?)

That first line, “people prefer to be lied to”, is perfect! What a great set up for the final two panels when we experience in comedic form the true source of the characters angst.
The laugh out loud beauty of this comic combined with the underlying message of human behavior, expectations and angst is simply brilliant.
There, I said it. BRILLIANT!

Great story Tony, I’m with Shakespeare “Life is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury but signifying nothing”…but you sometimes just need to do the day and let the day do you. Keep up the good work.
