Despite being a believer, I love satirical takes on religion. I don’t think any religion has the whole story as far as God is concerned, jut bits and pieces. Enjoying your blog!

Thank you so much! I really ought to check my comments more often, so I owe you an apology for taking so long to respond. Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to read, and for taking this in the spirit that was intended. 🙂

That “holy water” must’ve blessed you with a beautiful curiosity. Ernest was fascinating to me in like he seemed dense? a little, he felt plain as the plane he’s soaking in. Bliss meets blessed or whatever 😆
Loved the awkwardness in spirituality and friendship in all this and how you colored everything so magically!!

Thank you so much, M. And you managed to pick up on something that I’ve hoped someone would for the longest time now. Ernest is very much a semi-autobiographical projection of me, and as such he’s written to be a little bit dense, a little bit plain… a little bit of a blank canvas if you will. While he is most certainly the ‘star’ of this comic series, he’s intentionally the least interesting character in the cast. I’m really delighted that you saw this! 😀

I’m surprised I’m the “one” that picked up on it. I’m saying that because you do amazing artistry that seriously speaks A LOT! I mean I could say much more about what I think I might see, but instead I’ll just say sorry that I have soo soo much to catch up on.
I’m really glad you made Ernest who he is and the star. He’s going to shine, and I can’t wait to see how bright! 😊

Oh my god, you never have to apologise around here, Michelle. I’m just happy that anybody reads my stuff at all, so your wonderful comments are icing on the cake as far as I’m concerned! And hopefully Ernest will learn to shine a bit brighter than a cigarette lighter, eh? 😛

Brilliant. Love the shock of that last frame.

Thanks, Edyta. I work hard on those colour schemes so it’s gratifying when people notice! 😀
