It’s All Just a Bad Dream

Podcasts are the kind of thing one does when one is bored and looking for a purpose in life. I’m not so certain that I’ve found that purpose, nor am I certain that the episode you’re about to hear is the best I’ve ever done. Actually, it’s probably the worst, so consider yourself warned.

(I strongly suspect that I need another human being to talk to during these things! Hopefully, I can make that happen…)

Anyhow, this latest Crumbcast is about dreams, an unmentionable sex act, and going off script. Someone please wake me up!

  1. Awe, you are so funny and you are a comedian!!!
I am laughing my head off about fucking the dog. Maybe that is where the expression โ€œfucking the dog โ€œ comes from. Lots of people must dream the same thing.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  2. Yeah it’s all over the place, but that’s what the majority of your audience seems to like. Talking shit off the top of your head seems to work! (And I love the intro music – what is it?)
I too have always wondered why we have dreams. It just feels like the brain farting out sounds and images from millions of our experiences and putting them together as nonsensical stories.

    1. The music is something I found on a royalty-free site, and it felt like the perfect fit for the podcast. Weird. Spacey. A little meandering and unfocused and psychedelic. I love your take on what dreams are, and their function. Wish I’d thought of it that way. I get to do that now though, so thank you! ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. I liked your intro but problem with podcasts is they take so darned long to get the info! For this reason I’ve pretty much stopped listening to The Great Courses and things like that. They’re good. But Wiki is so much faster. Maybe this speed thing is just a North American phenom? Or maybe it’s just me… ๐Ÿ™‚
