Remember to recycle your soda cans. They go in the aluminum bin whilst the pull tag needs to be tossed into a volcano.

Ah, yes. Good advice there. I better make the long trek now. I’ve got quite a few pull tags. 😛

Dear Tony,
I’m in the pull tab camp, too. Perhaps this is because I shall forevermore think of LOTR as a Book first and movie second.

I didn’t mind the movies but the books will forever be where it’s truly at, that’s for sure. 😉

I enjoyed the movies. The last one confused me because it had something like five different endings. Every time I was ready to get up from my seat and head towards the ladies’ I would end up slowly sinking back down because the movie was still playing after I thought it was over.

I had that same response, and in fact a lot of people did. It was the movie that didn’t know it had ended yet! Peter Jackson is a terrific film maker but brevity isn’t something he seems to believe in much. 😛

I’m so glad Ernest and Zelda survived the zombie apocalypse! You never know the destination until you get there, indeed.

Poor Gollum. He’s really quite lost it, hasn’t he! 😛

Too funny, Tony.
I also liked the pull-tab one. But I laughed out loud at “I should have taken driving lessons.” You’re quite the comedian 🙂

Yup. There’s nothing like carrying your loved one five hundred miles to make you rethink your “no wheels” policy! 😛

Thanks, Dru! I usually don’t like to include pop culture references in my strips but I felt Gollum would be of a suitable enough literary vintage for me to get away with it. 🙂
