Oh, I can relate to this. Roxie aka The Other Cat is always my husband’s cat when she is bad. And that’s pretty much most of the time!

Ha ha ha! Yes! It’s always like that, isn’t it. No one wants to take ownership when the cat gets naughty! ๐

๐ My mother & I have both had bad luck with cats as youngsters – as a toddler she found one on her Grandmother’s farm and hugged it so tightly she killed it. I found a kitten at a cousin’s house in Puerto Rico and I insisted on holding it even though it struggled to get away; so it peed on me. ๐

As a child, I had a cat scratch my arms to shreds when I tried to hold it so that I could read a book to it. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who’s had unfortunate experiences with members of the kitty kingdom! ๐

My son and I wear our scars from Freeta proudly! At least you can’t see his – it’s across his upper lip residing beneath his ‘stache.

Ah, then he’s cheating. He’s got to show his too! ๐

It pleases me to read that, Pamo. Maybe more upchucks are in order…

You have captured another chapter from our life. My reaction was always ‘Well, you wanted the cat’ and ‘Christine would say ‘She turned up in the garden, starving. What was I supposed to do?’ ‘Well, you started feeding her.’ Ad infinitum.

Ha ha! Yes, that constant to-ing and fro-ing always gets me too. No one wins! Except maybe the cat… ๐

I think Zelda would have preferred the musical to the interactive experience she just participated in, Stephen. Oh, and the podcast will be making a comeback soon. Watch this space. ๐
