Go Zelda!!
I am the shortest in my family. That position is difficult to be in.
I enjoy seeing pieces of you two in these comics. Readers are given a glimpse of your thinking processes and experiences in a unique way. I doubt there’s another comic strip close to this. You guys have created something truly special and authentic. Awesome sauce!

Faith, this comment made my day. It was an absolute joy to reveal a little something of us in this. I think it’s such details as this that allows Crumble Cult to shine. That’s my hope anyway. 🙂

Well the love for Zelda positively oozes from the screen. So glad Zelda embraced her body and didn’t keep on down the dark track you intimated.

I’m so glad of it too. Eating disorders are… well, grisly. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody.

Dear Tony,
My daughter is supposedly “small” for her age. I never think of her that way, though. To me she is oh! so much larger than life. I get the feeling your wife is like that, too.

She’s very much so, and makes her presence known! (Which is as it should be.) 😀

Beautiful. You have such a sensitive way of telling stories. Very caring. And your art is phenomenal. I’m a huge fan. I’ll be investigating your archives for awhile!

Thank you so much, Pamo. I hope the other strips are just as much to your liking, even the more confronting ones.

I was the smallest in my age group throughout school and gained a few appropriate nick-names. When I became a science teacher as one of three staff in the biology department, even the other teachers called me ‘The Micro-biologist’. Gotta smile!

Well, it’s smile or cry, isn’t it really. I’m with you, Peter, definitely gotta smile! 🙂

Nice one, very moving.
Although I’m tall, I find short women great to be with; very active.

Well, my wife who the character Zelda is based on is quite the active one for sure. She moves so fast that I lose her in crowds sometimes. It can be quite disconcerting! 😛

This was beautiful Tony, completely living and embracing of the most precouse person in your life. Well Done. I agree with other comments that you felt with a difficult topic very sensitively yet very honestly.
Much Respect- Jade.

In no way was her heart or her soul ever small.

Agreed, Carrie. There’s absolutely nothing that can constrict, contain, or extinguish the heart and soul. 🙂

It’s tops to see a man express how much he loves his women. Zelda may be small, but she’s a hard act to follow 🙂

She is indeed. To quote S.J. Faerlind: “Small but mighty in spirit”! 😀
