I loved turning that phrase on its ear, that’s for sure. It’s always struck me as a naive and almost offensive thing to say to someone whose life has – despite their best efforts – never turned out the way they would have wished it to. 😀

I hear ya. I get frustrated when people fob off my very real worries with glib phrases like that. They may as well say, “We don’t care.” Amounts to the same thing for me. 😛
