  1. Tony, you’re so brilliant. I don’t think I tell you that enough. And just remember, check your shirts for those pesky objects before you go out. I’d hate to see you in a body cast.

  2. Dear Tony,

If I was Ernest I would have held it up, pointed it at one side or the other (I won’t say which) and yelled some type of slogan to make it seem as if I was part of the other crowd. Better too have half the people pissed at you than all of them.

    Jennifer

P.S. I thought in your lingo “pissed” meant “drunk”.

    1. Ah, if only Ernest was able to think on his feet like that! That would have been a wise course for him to take. Safety in numbers, I say. Even if it’s only in half that number of people! 😉

PS: Here, to “take the piss” generally means to mock someone or something, although the word “piss” on its own certainly does refer to alcohol! 🙂

    1. Those two strips are certainly meant to be read together, so I’m glad you did that, Pamo. And I agree. Poor Ernest. He really does get himself into trouble without even trying, doesn’t he!

  4. Haha, ah Tony. It’s a strong contrast to last weeks issue. I’ll say that much :P.

Really though, I do love this.
